Subscriber Agreement

Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Last Updated: September 2026

1.Acceptance & Service Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Subscriber", "Customer", or "User") and Speed Net Internet Services ("Speed Net", "we", or "us"). By subscribing to our fiber broadband packages, using our network, or accessing our subscriber portal, you agree to comply with all terms herein.

Speed Net delivers optical fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and commercial broadband solutions across Rayachoty, Lakkireddypalli, Vempalli, Madanapalli, and neighboring coverage corridors.

2.Subscriber Eligibility & KYC Documentation

In accordance with Department of Telecommunications (DoT) directives and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulations:

  • Subscribers must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into this contract.
  • Every connection requires mandatory submission of verified Customer Application Form (CAF) along with acceptable Proof of Identity (PoI) and Proof of Address (PoA) prior to line activation.
  • The subscriber warrants that all submitted contact details, addresses, and documents are genuine and accurate.

3.Fiber Installation & Equipment Custody

  • Line Drop & Wiring: Speed Net provides free standard optical fiber line drop from the nearest distribution terminal to the subscriber's premises. Any internal customized trunking or conduit work is the customer's responsibility.
  • Customer Premises Equipment (ONT / Terminal): Optical Network Terminals (ONT) provided by Speed Net remain the proprietary equipment of Speed Net unless explicitly purchased outright. The subscriber agrees to exercise due care and keep the device plugged into a surge-protected power source.
  • Premises Access: Authorized Speed Net technical representatives carrying company identification shall be granted reasonable access to premises during operational hours for installation, testing, maintenance, or equipment retrieval.

4.Billing, Recharge & Account Portal

Subscription plans (e.g., 50 Mbps @ ₹599, 100 Mbps @ ₹799, 150 Mbps @ ₹999, 300 Mbps @ ₹1999) are billed on a monthly billing cycle.

  • Online Account Management: Subscribers can check line health, review invoice records, and process bill payments directly via the self-service subscriber portal at myaccount.speednetrct.com.
  • Grace Period & Disconnection: To ensure uninterrupted service, plan renewals should be completed on or before the due date. Failure to renew within the grace period will lead to automatic system suspension of internet connectivity until the balance is settled.
  • Taxes: All listed prices are exclusive of statutory Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless indicated otherwise on official invoices.

5.Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

The subscriber agrees that the broadband connectivity supplied by Speed Net shall NOT be used for:

  • Unauthorized commercial redistribution, sub-leasing, or re-selling bandwidth without carrier licenses.
  • Engaging in illegal activities, cyber offenses, copyright infringements, unauthorized network intrusion (hacking), or distributing malicious payloads.
  • Sending unsolicited mass email (spamming) or operating open proxies that compromise regional routing integrity.
  • Any violation of Indian cyber laws under the Information Technology Act 2000.

Violation of the AUP empowers Speed Net to terminate the connection immediately without refund and notify statutory law enforcement agencies.

6.Network Performance, Speeds & Maintenance

Speed Net designs and maintains its fiber backbone with redundant ring architecture. However:

  • Speed Measurement: Advertised plan speeds (e.g., 100 Mbps symmetric) represent wired Ethernet speeds up to the subscriber ONT. Wi-Fi speeds may experience physical attenuation caused by structural walls, consumer device capabilities, and local RF interference.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Periodic network upgrades or core routing maintenance will be scheduled during low-traffic overnight hours whenever feasible.
  • Fiber Cut & Repair: In the event of unforeseen civil construction line cuts or extreme weather conditions, our local technical response team is dispatched immediately to splice and restore connectivity.

7.Disconnection & Equipment Return

Subscribers may cancel their subscription by providing written notice or contacting support. Upon account closure:

  • All outstanding billing arrears must be settled in full.
  • Any optical equipment provided under rental or custody terms (ONT, power adapter) must be surrendered in working condition to our authorized field representative.

8.Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Speed Net shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss resulting from service interruptions caused by third-party upstream carrier failures, fiber cuts due to road widening/excavation, government-mandated regional internet blackouts, natural disasters, or grid power supply failures.

9.Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of this service agreement shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rayachoti / Annamayya District, Andhra Pradesh.
